Wor Watthana Muay Thai Gym
Wor. Watthana is a community funded gym based in Isaan that empowers children through Muay Thai.
From the moment they were born, children in Thai villages are vulnerable to existing circumstances. Wor. Watthana provides a safe and family-friendly environment for at-risk kids to grow up in, away from drugs, alcohols and gang violence.
Founders: Frances and Boom
Frances and Boom are both professional Muay Thai fighters with a strong passion to support children through martial arts and change young lives.
When they first started, they trained kids in the back of Boom’s dad’s garden, before finally raising enough funds through crowd-sourcing to build the Wor. Watthana Muay Thai Gym.

Community-sourced funds are used to finance daily essentials, the children’s education and to keep the gym running.
